Last week, me and my mates had a dinner somewhere at U.N Manila, the place is just within the building i work for and as they say it serves good culinary dishes since it is being cooked by students that are currently on training (they say being trained by the best), mainly because the restaurant is courtesy of a culinary school which is really famous here in Manila. When i found out about this, i really didn’t expect much of what I am about to eat, but hey why not give it a try.
Rating: ★★☆☆☆
I was suppose to give it 1 star but since i liked the Smoked Salmon and the Chocolate Lava Cake, i decided to give it a 2. Other than that, the Main Entree was just “OK” same as the Raspberry Chiffon Cake was too hard, it tasted more like a medicine for kids. Food service was very slow, and one thing I hated there is that we already made reservations for a 1 pm dinner, but got to eat at around 2:30 pm because the place was too crowded and they didn’t even gave us a private room. As I’ve said, i didn’t really expect too much since I am very aware that the restaurant serves as a training ground for the students.
Am I going to go back there? Definitely NO.
